Tommy Lee-5-1024x1024Lee was born Thomas Lee Bass October 3 of 1962 in Athens to David Lee Thomas Bass, an American U.S. Army sergeant and Vassiliki Papadimitriou, participant in the 1957 Miss Greece beauty pageant (Greek: Basilike Papademetriou). When Lee was around two years [4older his father emigrated his family back to the United States, settling in California.Lee got his first drum sticks when he was just four years old. It was his first proper drum kit when he reached the age of teenager. Lee dropped out from high school to pursue music as a career starting with Suite 19, a L.A.-based club band.
