Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
Having been first attracted by the shadows on trees she observed in the grass, she set about studying a method that does not present the subject as a 2-dimensional representation on canvas. Instead, the object is transformed into a representation of the subject, where the surface transforms into the medium for it's individual interpretation of the subject, particularly in the case of live or perishable objects, such as people or fruit. Alexa's style of painting is ephemeral and only the images of her work are preserved. Photographs and painting are together to produce an unflattering two-dimensional space that is trompe-l'oeil. In certain places, three dimensions are visible, like around the eye or on the hair. Meade occasionally integrates painted models within the surrounding space. This allows them to engage with the environment the artist has constructed. Thereby repealing the boundaries between photography, painting installation and performance.
