Angela Gossow Urach

Angela Gossow grew up in Cologne alongside three other siblings. At the age of 17, her parents separated. The business of her parents also was bankrupt, adding to her financial woes. She was further hampered due to being bulimic or anorexic. Gossow's reaction to her decision not to continue as the lead singer for ARCH ENEMY was simple It was that there is an appropriate and inappropriate moment for all things. The whole thing began in the year 1991. It wasn't fun anymore to live a nomadic life. It was easier to just stop than to continue doing what I was told to do. Originally, the frontwoman of this band was Johan Liiva. She was changed in 2000 to German singer Angela Gossow.
